Casual Weddings Key West

With the azure tropical waters, palm trees, white sand and blue sky, Key West is the perfect backdrop for your wedding.

• To be married in Florida, you must get your marriage license in the state of Florida. You can obtain the license in any city in Florida.
• If you live outside of Florida, there is no waiting period. If you live in Florida, there is a 3 day waiting period after you obtain the marriage license.
• The license can easily be obtained at the Key West Courthouse, 500 Whithead Street, Key West between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (except holidays). The courthouse phone number is 305.292.3458.  It only takes a few minutes to obtain a license.
• A valid marriage license must be presented to the Wedding Officate at the time of the wedding. The officiate will notorize the license, have it recorded at the Courthouse, and you'll receive your official copy from the Courthouse in approximately 10 days.
• Witnesses to the ceremony are not required in the State of Florida.
